A veteran
performer for over 25 years, Mean Gene Kelton was "born
in Mississippi, on the wrong side of the tracks"
as one of the hit songs from Most Requested says.
Kelton's
shoot-from-the-hip style crosses the musical spectrum from
down-home dirty blues and rockabilly through Americana, Southern
Rock and Classic Rock 'n Roll.
Mean Gene
Kelton formed The Die Hards in 1992, and hasn't looked back
since.

Originally from
San Diego, California, Wolff prowled the West Coast from Mexico
to Canada searching for “just the right band”
that had “that feeling”.
His quests eventually led him to the “Mecca Of The
Blues, Clarksdale, Mississippi where he “paid his dues”
for five years as part of the “Blues Elite” at
Morgan Freeman’s world famous Ground Zero Blues Club.
He performed with (and often toured with) many of the famous
blues legends passing through.
One night a lil’ old band from Texas (“Mean Gene
Kelton and the Die Hards”) came passing through...
the rest is history.
